CDL Vacuum Truck Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Vacuum Truck Driver to operate vacuum trucks for industrial, environmental, and municipal services. This role involves transporting, loading, and unloading liquid and solid materials while following all safety, environmental, and DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vacuum trucks and related equipment.
- Perform suction, pumping, and disposal of liquids, sludge, and other materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Ensure proper loading, securement, and unloading of materials.
- Complete daily logs, tickets, and required paperwork accurately.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and job site personnel.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of truck and equipment.
- Respond to emergency or after-hours calls as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL (Class A).
- Tanker endorsement required; HazMat endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous vacuum truck or industrial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy hoses and equipment.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- Industrial sites, refineries, construction zones, and municipal locations.
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and industrial materials.
- May involve long hours, nights, weekends, or travel.
